We offer a number of printing services through Embroidery Planet, and ensure that
the service offered is appropriate for our clients, from both a cost and quality
perspective.
We offer Silk screen printing, this service is offered as a spot colour or four
colour process. In addition we offer a cost effective alternative to silk screen
printing which is the application of transfers. We also offer a specialist service
where we can transfer rhinestone designs onto the garment of your choice.
Transfer
The two types of transfers we offer are direct printand direct diecut, both provide
excellent reproduction quality of your art work. Direct print is printed directly
on to the transfer paper which we then apply to the garment, this process is best
suited to light coloured garments as there is a light boarder left around the art
work. This border is eliminated in the diecut transfer, as the design is die cut
and then transferred onto the garment. This is a more expensive transfer, but it
eliminates the white border from the artwork.
These transfers are best suited for small runs, and garments that have a short shelf
life, such a promotional or sporting events as they are cheap and have a much lower
set up cost. An example where this process is used is in sporting events, where
individual names and numbers are required. The use of transfers over silk scream
printing works out much cheaper due to the lower set up costs.

upon which process to use. Sometimes our clients may want a cheaper item for a one
time promotion, while others may want a high quality service that truly reflects
them and their brand.
Silkscreen Printing
Silk screen printing offers a high quality print to your garments, from T shirts
and polos through to high visibility jackets and flags. We offer both a spot colour
printing service, where your design or logo is printed using solid colours, or we
can use a four colour process where colours are blended to create a wider range
of colours and shades. This is a high quality print that will last a number of washes,
even at 40 degrees.
